Wood is recruiting for an Instrument and Control Maintenance Engineer to join its Iraq business unit focusing on installation, inspection, repair of Instrument/ Control equipment for hazardous (classified) areas for a Major Onshore Brownfield Project in Basra, Iraq on 5/2 work schedule.

This role is a full-time on-site role in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Job Objectives

• Degree in Instrument/ Control Engineering/ Equivalent
• Minimum Experience / Minimum 5yrs Instrument/ Control Maintenance
• Minimum Level / Lead Instrument/ Control Engineers
• Professional Skills
• Experience in Preventative Instrument/ Control Maintenance
• installation, inspection, repair of Instrument/ Control equipment for hazardous (classified) areas.
• Effective communicator - can understand and speak good level of English
• Knowledge of oil and gas best practice safety and control of work processes
