Customer Operation Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will be in charge of responding to quality problems (handling complaints) with ABB products that have been delivered to customers. You will be in charge of handling quality issues (complaint handling) when quality problems occur with ABB products delivered to customers. This position is responsible for the components handled by the Smart Power (ELSP) and Smart Buildings (ELSB) business units of the Electrification Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for a key customer. The successful candidate will be required to solve problems as well as approach the factory and the customer with solutions to their problems, and will also be required to be a sales person.

Qualifications for the role

• Undergraduate degree or higher (electrical engineering)
• Native level of Japanese and business level of English (TOEIC score 700 or above)
• Experience negotiating with customers as a person in charge of technical/quality department, including accompanying sales representatives
• Experience in similar work at an industrial equipment manufacturer
• Ability to prepare reports for customers based on mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Proficiency in MS-Office 365
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial low-voltage electrical products and equipment (preferred)
