Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Protection Technologist to join our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy and be passionate about creating a sustainable future. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining protection systems for renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement protection schemes for renewable energy projects
• Perform system studies and analysis to ensure the reliability and security of the power system
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for protection systems
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in protection technology

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in protection system design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems and technologies
• Proficiency in protection relay programming and configuration
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
