We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor-Site for one of our clients with the following details:

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost estimation methodologies.

Activities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects
• Utilize historical data and market analysis to inform cost projections.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, implementing effective cost control measures to minimize variances.
• Conduct regular financial reporting, highlighting key trends and potential risks.
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies throughout the project.
• Conduct site visits and measurements to verify quantities and progress of work.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts in collaboration with project teams.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and cost management.
• Assist in the assessment of change orders and variations, providing recommendations for cost adjustments.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in quantity surveying and cost management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and technologies affecting quantity surveying.
