JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

As a Service Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing ISO 9001:2015 standards, optimizing the cost and reliability of Downhole Tools (DH Tools), and supporting the development and coordination of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the service facility. Your role involves direct interaction with operations, engineering, and sales teams to ensure service quality, enhance product reliability, and address customer concerns through structured quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor quality standards in daily tool service operations
  • Record and close non-conformances and implement 5S initiatives
  • Liaise with engineering on product development and enhancement
  • Reassess scrap components and propose cost-saving rework solutions
  • Support internal and customer investigations through ITrax and IFR processes
  • Conduct monthly audits, document service procedures, and support supplier evaluations
  • Collaborate with Facility and Regional Managers to meet quality objectives
  • Participate in service quality meetings and manage performance reporting


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
  • 4-6 years of quality experience in service shop operations, especially in tool repair and maintenance
  • Experience with ISO 9001 QMS and Downhole Tools
  • ISO Lead Auditor certification
  • Experience with failure and investigation
  • Experience in Quality Management System.
  • Experience with Downhole Tools
