We have a current opportunity for a Subsea control system engineer on a 12 month contract basis. The position will be based in London for an operator. 

Work involves:

Follow-up of activities related to the system integration testing (SIT) of subsea control systems, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Controls Extended Factory Acceptance Testing (EFAT), and Site Integration Testing (SIT). Key Activities to follow up: • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Conduct rigorous testing in a controlled environment to validate system functionality before deployment. • Controls Extended Factory Acceptance Testing (EFAT): Verify the integration of control systems with existing network infrastructure, ensuring all components met operational specifications. • Site Integration Testing (SIT): Confirm operational readiness by addressing integration challenges in collaboration end users. Focus Areas: • HSE Compliance: Prioritized health, safety, and environmental considerations throughout the testing phases. • Quality Assurance: Emphasized adherence to best practices and industry standards, with thorough documentation for accountability. Key competencies: • Electrical and hydraulic subsea control system. Networks administration industrial communication, cyber security. Reporting and Engineering Support: Systematic reporting of progress, including findings and recommendations. Additionally, assistance in engineering studies including document reviews to ensure alignment with project specifications.
