We have a current opportunity for a Process Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Paris with a leading engineering company within the energy sector.

We are seeking a Process Manager to lead engineering activities across various project phases (feasibility, conceptual, Basic, FEED, EPC, etc.) within our client's Paris-based operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Project & Team Management
  • Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team (20–80 engineers and technicians) throughout project execution.
  • Define team objectives, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Manage interfaces with project stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal disciplines.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality process deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Report progress and KPIs to senior management and project leaders.
  • Promote and apply lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Organize and lead design reviews, including P&ID reviews.
  • Support team development through mentoring and training.
Technical & Functional Expertise
  • Provide technical support on complex design issues.
  • Contribute to tender responses, technical and commercial proposals.
  • Support R&D efforts, including licensing, patent development, and innovation initiatives.
  • Develop and improve engineering methods, tools, and procedures.
  • Participate in cross-functional tasks such as recruitment, performance reviews, and internal training.
  • Represent the company in conferences, publications, and professional forums.
Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in energy, chemicals, or petrochemicals.
  • Proven experience managing large engineering teams and complex industrial projects.
  • Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Engineering or Master’s degree in Chemical/Process/General Engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and energy/material transformation.
  • Familiar with process simulation tools such as HYSYS, UniSim, PRO II, ProSim, Pipenet, Flarenet, Fathom.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following: LNG, gas processing, olefins, plastics recycling, refining, sustainable fuels, hydrogen/ammonia, carbon management, or decarbonization technologies.
