Job Description

The Solar Electric (PV) Installation Technician works on a team and is under the training and supervision of an experienced tradesman, a Crew Chief, who will provide coaching, supervision, and training. The Installation Technician is responsible for the assembly, construction, and commissioning of Solar Electric panels, electric equipment, and energy storage batteries. This position is specifically for the entry level tradesmen.
Responsibilities

• Mechanical aptitude and learn to do roof top work to install roof attachments, run electrical, and present themselves to clients in a clear, polite, and respectful manger
• Complete installations in a timely manner, leaving a clean and orderly work area
• Collect payment and fill out paperwork properly
• Develop skills through company-provided training to work toward a future career path as a Crew Chief/Lead Installer

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience fixing automotive a plus
• Electrical installation or service or similar experience preferred
• Ability to work Saturdays
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Desire to exceed customer's expectations
• Clean DMV record and Driver's license required
• Drug-free workplace
• Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting up to 50 lbs
