Voor een technisch uitdagende functie in de offshore sector zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven Project Engineer. Je werkt vanuit de regio Vlissingen aan internationale projecten. Vanwege de ligging is het belangrijk dat je reeds in Nederland woont en een EU-paspoort of een geldige Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning hebt. Vloeiend Nederlands is een vereiste voor deze functie.

Functie omschrijving

Als Project Engineer ben je betrokken bij het gehele proces van offshore projecten: van voorbereiding tot en met uitvoering. Je vertaalt technische wensen van klanten naar praktische plannen, stelt documentatie op en biedt ondersteuning zowel op kantoor als op locatie - in binnen- en buitenland. Je werkt in een dynamische omgeving waar kabelinstallaties en transport over water centraal staan.

Je taken omvatten:

• Het opstellen van method statements, transportplannen en risicoanalyses;
• Het ontwikkelen van technische voorstellen en het ondersteunen van aanbestedingen;
• Het onderhouden van contacten met klanten en onderaannemers;
• Het bewaken van de voortgang en het oplossen van knelpunten;
• Het ondersteunen van de uitvoering op locatie (soms als field engineer);
• Het zorgen voor een goede overdracht van engineering naar uitvoering;
• Beheer van technische en contractuele projectinformatie.

Functie vereisten

• MBO/HBO werk- en denkniveau in een technische richting (bijv. werktuigbouwkunde, civiele techniek of maritieme techniek);
• Affiniteit met offshore projecten, kabelinstallaties of baggeren is een pré;
• Ervaring met AutoCAD en MS Office (kennis van Rhino 3D, GHS of Octopus is een pré);
• In het bezit van rijbewijs B;
• Bereid om internationaal te reizen;
• Je bent analytisch, praktisch, zelfstandig en oplossingsgericht;
• Je werkt graag samen en hebt oog voor veiligheid en kwaliteit.
