About the Role
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems in accordance with relevant IEC standards, contributing to the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of all project phases. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support both technical delivery and documentation across electrical scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems to relevant IEC and safety standards
• Perform lighting calculations using appropriate software
• Produce and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
• Ensure all designs comply with electrical safety regulations and project specifications
• Work collaboratively with mechanical and instrumentation engineers
• Provide technical support to tendering and project delivery teams
• Review and approve installation drawings and technical documentation
• Validate vendor designs for mechanical packages and motors (ranging from 1kW to 3000kW)
• Integrate engineering efforts across departments to ensure efficient project execution
• Support continuous improvement in engineering processes and procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Relevant experience, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments
• In-depth knowledge of IEC electrical codes and safety practices
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant electrical design tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with hazardous area electrical design is highly desirable
