The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems in accordance with relevant IEC standards, contributing to the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of all project phases. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support both technical delivery and documentation across electrical scopes.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems in accordance with relevant IEC standards, contributing to the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of all project phases. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support both technical delivery and documentation across electrical scopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems to relevant IEC and safety standards
- Perform lighting calculations using appropriate software
- Produce and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Ensure all designs comply with electrical safety regulations and project specifications
- Work collaboratively with mechanical and instrumentation engineers
- Provide technical support to tendering and project delivery teams
- Review and approve installation drawings and technical documentation
- Validate vendor designs for mechanical packages and motors (ranging from 1kW to 3000kW)
- Integrate engineering efforts across departments to ensure efficient project execution
- Support continuous improvement in engineering processes and procedures
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Relevant experience, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments
- In-depth knowledge of IEC electrical codes and safety practices
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant electrical design tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with hazardous area electrical design is highly desirable
