Job Summary:

Spencer Ogden is seeking a skilled and motivated RCD (Rotating Control Device) Technician to join our Managed Pressure Drilling Campaign in Sarawak, Malaysia. The RCD Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Rotating Control Devices used in managed pressure drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Rotating Control Devices and associated equipment in accordance with standards and client requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Collaborate with drilling personnel to ensure optimal performance of RCD equipment during drilling operations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to drilling teams on the proper use and handling of RCD equipment.
• Document and report all maintenance activities and equipment performance issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RCD Technician or similar role in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of Rotating Control Devices and managed pressure drilling operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in challenging and remote locations.
