Facilities Engineer (1-Year Contract)

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the central point of command within Fault Management Centre (FMC), coordinating responses to critical system issues and managing communications with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify the root cause for alarm/alert generated from the monitoring workstations.
  • Manage and lead a team of shift technicians in facility management and operation of the assigned site.
  • Plan and execute with relevant teams or contractors of the corrective maintenance.
  • Provide positive and professional working relationship with internal team and stakeholders/clients.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team within the FMC and with other departments.
  • Follow up on abnormalities or fault detected from the use of BMS/working monitoring workstations (critical system such as HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarm, etc) on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively all facilities team, providing updates on system health.
  • Track and analyze recurring faults or issues in BMS and other monitoring systems to identify patterns.
  • Use trend date to provide insights on system vulnerabilities and potential areas for improvement.
  • Work with preventive maintenance team to implement preventive measures to reduce fault occurrence

Requirements
  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Facilities Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in building or facilities management, preferably with exposure to BMS, HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Alarm systems
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly diagnose faults
  • Ability to work independently and response to incidents calmly and efficiently
  • Willingness to work in shift patterns
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviors
