Voor de veerdienst tussen het vaste land naar een van onze mooie waddeneilanden zoeken wij naar een werktuigkundige. Samen met het ervaren technische team ga je ervoor zorgen dat zowel de schepen als technische installaties aan wal perfect blijven werken.

Functie omschrijving

Onze opdrachtgever vervoert jaarlijks vele reizigers met deze moderne schepen, welke een goede, veilige en duurzame verbinding garanderen tussen vaste land en eiland.

Je wordt aangestuurd door de superintendent, en naast onderdeel van de vaarploeg, maak je tijdens onderhoudsdagen ook deel uit van het team wat de installaties aan wal in goede conditie houdt.

Je houdt je bezig met inspecteren, optimaliseren en gebruiksklaar maken van de schepen. Je verhelpt storingen aan apparatuur, elektrische en mechanische installaties aan boord en aan wal. Ook ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor de brandstofvoorraad en help je mee bij het bunkeren.

Functie vereisten

Wie ben jij?

• MBO opleiding Werktuigbouw, Electrotechniek, SWK of Maritiem Officier
• Minimaal twee jaar ervaring als werktuigkundige in de nautische sector
• Je hebt ervaring in een of meerdere van de volgende vakgebieden: hydraulische,e elektrotechnische en/ of werktuigbouwkundige systemen in (nautische) installaties
• Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en Engels
• Je bent woonachtig op het mooie Texel, of je wilt je hier graag vestigen
