About the role:

Engineering and Business:

• Takes a leadership role and trusted to make decisions, typically at group / team level or within a specific area of the business. Develops capabilities within their own team
• High level of accountability. Drives the strategic direction of an aspect of the business to achieve desired business outcome
• Known to the LPO senior team and their "first choice" for advice
• Able to understand a client's problem and bring the different capabilities of Atkins together, to develop a solution
• Strong knowledge of the fundamental concepts, principles and theories of system integration as applied to multi-disciplinary designs
• Strong understanding of principles of assurance and compliance as defined and applied within the relevant industry environment
• Engages with internal and external stakeholders and negotiates successfully
• Able to drive technical input to bids and provide clear USPs in technological field
• Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels to adopt different points of view
