We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Leader to join a high-profile offshore oil & gas development project. This major international initiative is focused on delivering a new FPSO-based production system in Angola, with execution activities taking place across multiple engineering centers and fabrication yards worldwide.
Role Overview:
As Mechanical Leader, you will act as the focal point for mechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring technical integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety-critical element (SECE) requirements. You will oversee maintenance strategies, validate design conformity, manage spares and obsolescence reviews, and support commissioning and operations readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in mechanical engineering, maintenance planning, and asset integrity.
- Review and validate maintenance philosophies, equipment selection, and SECE strategies.
- Oversee mechanical deliverables for FPSO, subsea, and utility packages.
- Ensure integration of CMIMS and support quality commissioning and start-up activities.
- Represent field operations in all mechanical-related reviews, testing, and gap analyses.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors on mechanical performance and reliability.
- Lead evaluations of equipment fitness for purpose, failure mode analysis, and long-term availability.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering; minimum BAC 2 level.
- 15 years' professional experience, with at least 10 years in mechanical roles in oil & gas.
- Experienced with high-voltage equipment and drives.
- Familiarity with FPSO projects and multidisciplinary environments.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems and Total Energies standards.
- Fluent in English; proactive, analytical, and organized.
