Maintenance Engineer for Generation Assets II

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for Generation Assets II to provide consulting engineering for maintenance analysis and services, commissioning, outage planning, modernization projects, implementation of new projects, and preparation and updating of multi-year planning through plant inspections, evaluation of maintenance plans, risk and indicator analysis, and assessment of the integrity and useful life of generation assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance analysis of equipment and systems with criticality level 1 and present subsequent actions and recommendations to increase availability, reliability, and performance of ENGIE's generation assets.
  • Provide consulting engineering for maintenance services on equipment and systems of generating units with criticality level 1.
  • Systematically evaluate maintenance philosophy, procedures, and plans, seeking best practices and technological innovations to ensure updates, standardization, and uniformity for equipment and systems with criticality level 1.
  • Analyze maintenance cost and performance indicators (KPIs) of generation assets.
  • Prepare and update the multi-year planning (PPU) of generation assets.
  • Provide consulting engineering for the preparation of the annual outage plan for generating units.
  • Conduct risk analysis, integrity assessment, and useful life evaluation of equipment and systems with criticality level 1 of generation assets.
  • Provide consulting engineering for special services and improvement projects of existing assets (modernization, repowering, and requalification), including technical feasibility analysis, technical specifications, proposal analysis and negotiation, project implementation, and commissioning.
  • Provide consulting engineering for the development and implementation of new projects, including technical feasibility analysis, technical specifications, project analysis, and commissioning.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Intermediate English (reading and writing).
  • Intermediate knowledge of plant equipment and systems.
  • Basic knowledge of project management.
  • Intermediate knowledge of health and safety standards and applicable regulations.
  • Intermediate skills in project analysis, interpretation, and procedure development.
  • Intermediate knowledge of risk and reliability analysis of generation assets.
  • Intermediate knowledge of analysis, monitoring, and diagnostics of generation assets.
  • Basic knowledge of integrated management systems.

Desirable Attributes:
  • Experience in hydroelectric plants, with knowledge in speed governors OR shaft line OR guide and thrust bearings OR vibrations.
