In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Ensures Rosemount Business Unit maintains alignment with delivery date dedication as stated in customer purchase order.
  • Sets internal kick-off meeting / sales hand-over meeting with related groups to get clarity on order requirements, may invite sales engineer, contract administrator, screening engineer, order entry and execution personnel, Singapore project engineer counterpart, buyout team, back-to-back suppliers. Uses the hand-over meeting checklist as a guideline.
  • Attends customer kick-off meetings and presents project schedule, highlights challenges of the project execution and sets dedication dates. Prepares and submits the minutes of the meeting if customer has no appointed minute-taker.
  • Initiates technical meeting with the customer to resolve pending issues that keep order from proceeding with manufacturing.
  • Advises customer of impact of any change in requirements. Sends change order form to ensure documentation.
  • Secures approval on required documentations which may include drawings/diagrams, revised proposals, inspection and test plan (ITP), functional acceptance test (FAT) procedures, general certificates, manufacturing procedures.
  • Requests for model and pricing set-up for standard and non-standard models if needed. Requests for set-up for long lead time items may need to be done immediately after kick-off meeting to ensure early material pull.
  • Prepares and submits the required documents for order screening and order entry, uses the checklist provided to ensure hand-over of clean order. Provides the special instructions as needed.
  • Provides a consistent progress report to customer and to project manager according to the required frequency or once a month if customer do not require.
  • Interacts directly with the customer for clarification on order requirements.
  • Attends inspection and final acceptance test activities if included in the project scope.
  • Fills out supplier performance evaluation as may be requested by the local procurement team.
  • Assists contract administrators in invoicing project milestones.
  • Prepares and completes documentation requirements prior and post-delivery.
  • Performs site surveys if required by the project order's terms and conditions (after award of the PO). May require to avail of the applicable permits and approvals before committing to the activity.
  • Consistently monitors project progress to ensure dedication to delivery.
  • Updates database on project status which may include but not limited to PMO SharePoint, project monitoring report and shared folder for record keeping.
  • Sends a weekly status report of outstanding projects.
  • Assists the project manager in forecasting delivery timing as required for the President's Operating Report (POR).
  • May be involved in cost-reduction strategies of Project Management.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
  • 2 Years of experience in the field of Instrumentation, support or field services.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Advance knowledge of Instrumentation Engineering Principles.
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft office applications & other web based applications.
  • Strong technical knowledge on all Rosemount Measurement Products.
