The Offshore T&I Engineer is responsible for technical oversight, interface management, and execution assurance of all offshore installation activities performed by the contractor. This includes supervision of marine operations for the deployment of the CALM Buoy, hook-up of the Temporary Storage Tanker (TST), disconnection of the existing FSO, and all associated riser and hose operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support the preparation, review, and assurance of T&I engineering and execution deliverables, including:
o Method statements, rigging studies, mooring/riser/hose installation plans
o SIMOPS plans, risk assessments, PTW matrices, and towing procedures
• Drive offshore readiness and supervise T&I execution, including CALM Buoy installation, riser and hose hook-up, leak testing etc.
• Enforce HSE compliance offshore, participate in toolbox briefings, site audits, emergency drills, and conduct real-time validation of contractor work
• Monitor execution of T&I operations, including vessel readiness, weather windows, and coordination with marine spreads.
• Support in issuing method statements, route surveys, and marine assurance documentation.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years' experience in T&I operations, preferably within FPSO/FSO or floating asset environments.
• Familiar with marine transportation, mooring installation, and offshore asset integration.
• Strong understanding of Class, Flag, and MWS expectations for T&I scope.
