EngineeringJOB PURPOSE:
Provide process and technical support for the projects studies to contribute in determining the project's feasibility to effectively achieve the study's defined objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Projects Studies (Technical)
• Provide process and technical support for the project studies to achieve the study's defined objectives
within the agreed time frame.
• Coordinate and deliver a comprehensive range of technical support for the assigned studies for the
timely completion of the projects, within the approved budget in line with the Company's quality,
technical, and HSE standards, and in compliance with ADNOC Group Value Assurance Process.
• Participate, assist and support in conducting the in-house feasibility studies.
• Develop process design, process simulation and process optimization using major process simulation
programs.
• Prepare the scope of work and services for conceptual studies in coordination with the Company's and
ADNOC counterparts to meet the studies requirements.
• Participate and contribute in the selection process of engineering firms for the development of
conceptual studies, which include, but not limited to, reviewing the consultant's / engineering capabilities
and experience. Participate in technical clarifications for meeting the project's technical standards.

• Contribute, with the consultant, in the evaluation of concepts and technologies to ensure achieving the
project's objectives.
• Participate in project interface meetings and activities; and obtain NOC from stakeholders, as required.
• Review the conceptual study deliverables prepared by Consultants; advice, comment and provide
technical inputs related to process engineering.
• Produce clear and concise reports and presentations with recommendations.
• Provide technical contribution to studies in order to assess the validity and soundness of technical
proposals. Ensure the Consultants adherence to Process and Technical considerations.
Value Assurance
• Contribute to value assurance checks and reviews to enhance the value and quality of the process and
technology under consideration for meeting the technical studies requirements.
• Provide support in the implementation of management systems improvements related to projects
studies.
• Collate and maintain lessons learnt from previous Projects studies in order to identify opportunities for
continuous improvement.
Supervision
• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job
and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
• Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved
Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering such as Chemical, Mechanical, or an equivalent Professional
Qualification.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• 8 years of experience in Process Engineering or Concept Selection in a large Oil and Gas industry.
• Good Knowledge of gas processing plant operations, production, engineering principles and project
management including development of processes and monitoring programs.
• Good Knowledge of Sour Gas processing and Sulphur handling.
• Good knowledge of NGL Recovery process and NGL fractionation.
• Knowledge of Gas Transportation and Gas/Condensate Pipeline engineering.
• Knowledge of material, corrosion, piping and machinery basics and principles.
• Knowledge of statistical process controls methods and application.
• Knowledge of HSE principles and their application relevant to Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in using analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving.
• Experience of leading a multi-discipline feasibility and conceptual study teams.
• Broad working knowledge of facilities engineering, cost estimation and project economics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project risk assessment and management processes.
• Experience in managing relevant technical issues.
