From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:
  • Operate fluid dispenser, tack welding machine, powder blenders, grit blast machine
  • Application of braze material onto required areas of the hardware
  • Ensure all operations are performed in accordance to Work Instructions
  • Ensure cleanliness of hardware and samples
  • Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks
  • Liaise with relevant personnel on concerns relating to production, quality, EHS, materials and maintenance
  • Assist Facilitator in integrating and training of new employees
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Prior experience working with tack welding machine, power blenders, grit blast machine

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum GCE 'O' level and/or with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Steady hands for effective control of alloy application tools.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations
  • A team player
