About the job What You'll Do: Plan transmission network expansion/developments and HVDC system to meet area load growth and generation. Provide consultation to large customers, agencies, EMA, Gencos, importers and others for supply to large developments and other connections at 66kV voltage and above Plan and design network connection and associated supply network for large customers taking supply at 66kV voltage and above. Plan and design generation/imports connection for Gencos/importers. Plan network reactive compensation devices for high voltage control and maximized network utilization. Prepare Agreements with customers, Gencos, importers and others etc. Prepare project proposals and preparation of project paper for seeking EMA, SGEI and management approval Planning of cable route for projects and connectivity to substations and customers/Gencos/importers Any other duties as assigned What You'll Need: Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore Experience in planning/operation of transmission network or design of a distribution network is preferred Preferably with 5 to 8 years of experience Possess good interpersonal skills Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines Possess good oral and written communication skills Preferred to have experience in working with agencies, and knowledge in cable route planning and installation work What We'll Provide: You will have mentorship opportunities with technical experts in various engineering specializations You will contribute to the success of upholding our world-class network reliability and drive sustainability We are one of the few companies with the largest number of Professional Engineers in Singapore
