EngineeringWe are looking for a Contracts Specialist for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Paris, France - Travel may be required between Paris (France) and locations in Germany such as Hamburg or Berlin.
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Duration: 12 months
Renewable: Yes
Status: Residential
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in T&I contract roles within energy or infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in Contracts & Procurement, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in international procurement standards, bid processes, and contract management.
- Proficiency in procurement tools such as Ariba, ERP systems (MBC), and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with multicultural teams, vendors, subcontractors, affiliates, and external stakeholders.
- Fluent English required. French and/or German is a plus.
Missions / Service Dimensions
The service holder shall:
- Provide continuous support to the project team, thereby increasing the efficiency of Contracts & Procurement (C&P).
- Contribute to the development of procurement and contract activities for the projects.
- Ensure full administration of C&P activities.
Activities
- The service holder will manage contracts and procurement activities related to Transport and Installation for Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) on offshore wind projects.
Contracts & Procurement Responsibilities
- Manage pre- and post-award contract activities for the WTG T&I packages.
- Conduct procurement processes including RFIs, RFPs, bid assessments, commercial evaluations, and supplier selection.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders: legal, finance, planning, insurance, and technical teams.
- Ensure suppliers' and employer's contractual obligations are monitored and fulfilled.
- Handle claims and contract variations with support from legal and project management.
- Secure internal and partner approvals.
- Prepare Confidentiality Agreements with contractors and service providers.
- Conduct due diligence on suppliers (market intelligence, compliance checks, benchmarks, risk assessments).
- Support other contract-related project activities as required.
Tools & Systems
- Use and manage tools such as E-sourcing platforms, ERP (e.g. MBC), AGORA, etc.
- Manage Vendor Master Data and Purchase Orders within ERP.
- Participate in supplier prequalification processes with internal quality teams.
- Support training and good practices adoption across project teams.
