The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reporting Engineer with a proven track record in providing limited cost, planning, scheduling and risk assessment support to Wood assignments / project teams and clients, typically on smaller projects without dedicated project control discipline teams. Runs selected required project controls systems and tools to enable the successful management and reporting of the project costs, schedule and risk on projects and specific assignments. Acts as one of the project / assignment focal points for some matters relating to project costs, schedules, and risk for a high-profile client.

The key objectives for this role are:
- Tracking milestones, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Preparing detailed reports on project status, cost variances, and resource utilization.
- Monitoring financial aspects of the project, ensuring expenditures align with forecasts.
- Providing clear and concise updates to project managers and teams.
- Identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to minimize impact
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Project Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain integrated project reporting dashboards covering schedule, cost, quality, safety, and technical progress
- Prepare comprehensive monthly project reports for client, senior management, and key stakeholders
- Create executive-level summary reports highlighting critical metrics, risks, and performance indicators
- Establish automated reporting systems to minimize manual effort and improve data accuracy
- Coordinate with all discipline leads to ensure timely and accurate data collection
- Generate Presentations for internal and client meetings
Schedule & Progress Monitoring
- Collaborate with planning engineers
- Generate detailed progress reports by discipline, work package, and overall project
- Track critical milestones and deliverable status with early warning systems for potential delays
- Prepare look-ahead reports and resource loading forecasts
- Maintain project schedule adherence reporting and trend analysis
Quality & Performance Metrics
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all project phases
- Track quality metrics including design deliverable status, construction progress, and commissioning activities
- Generate safety performance reports and incident tracking
- Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance against established metrics
- Prepare lessons learned documentation and best practice reports
Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate regular project review meetings with standardized reporting formats
- Coordinate with client representatives to ensure reporting meets contractual obligations
- Support project director and managers with data-driven insights for decision making
- Prepare presentations for project steering committees and governance meetings
- Manage document control and distribution systems for all project reports

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in major capital projects (>$1B preferred)
- Extensive experience with gas processing, petrochemical, or similar industrial facilities
- Proven track record in EPCm project delivery, particularly on reimbursable contracts
- Experience with large-scale international projects preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
- Knowledge of industry-standard reporting frameworks and methodologies
Professional Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
