Vestas Australia is thrilled to introduce a dynamic new opportunity that will shape the future of renewable energy projects across the region. We're seeking a Project Quality Lead to champion quality excellence and drive impactful stakeholder engagement within our Customer Project Execution (CPX) team.

The role focuses on achieving regional CPX Quality objectives and targets by embedding quality systems and tools into project execution, supporting the implementation of the regional CPX audit program, and driving the identification and sharing of best practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a regional focal point for Quality matters across CPX projects
- Promote awareness and integration of Quality principles across the APAC region
- Drive deployment of the Vestas Strategic Priorities within CPX Quality
- Monitor and report regional CPX Quality KPIs and performance
- Support implementation of the Vestas management system, including tools, training, and compliance
- Partner with CPX Project Quality teams to ensure alignment on regional and global Quality objectives
- Secure cross-functional support to agree risk mitigation actions and escalate issues as required
- Provide Quality input to CPX tendering and proposal activities
- Coordinate and lead the regional CPX Quality audit program
- Support 3rd party ISO 9001 certification and surveillance audits.
- Drive regional Quality improvement initiatives (e.g. QIP, PR).
- Support containment actions impacting multiple projects across the region
- Assist with root cause investigations for nonconformances affecting multiple projects
- Promote timely and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure Quality lessons learned are captured and shared across the region
- Provide Quality input to supplier evaluations
- Contribute to global and regional management system reviews.
- Prepare regular regional CPX Quality reports

Qualifications:

- Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline (essential)
- QMS Auditor Qualification by recognised industry body (essential)
- Membership of CQI or country specific industry body (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the energy industry

Competencies:
- Applied knowledge of quality assurance within the energy industry
- Exposure to wind industry desirable but not mandatory :
