About the Role
As the Lead Engineer, Technical Services at NOV Flexibles, you will be the primary point of contact for customers regarding the operation and maintenance of our flexible pipe systems. In this pivotal role, you will manage the entire lifecycle of engineering service projects-from initial customer engagement and project scoping to execution, reporting, and financial closure.
You will provide advanced technical support, act as project manager for after-sales service contracts, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across SMR, PRO, and Quality departments. You will also support commercial activities through life extension studies and play a critical role in enhancing our technical services function by developing systems, processes, and a flexibles integrity database. Additionally, you will represent NOV in industry forums and contribute to elevating our brand and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Service and support our Customers on the Operation of the flexible pipe systems supplied by FLEXIBLES.
- Develop the technical services/ after sales area within NOV.
- Act as Project Manager on technical services contracts.
- Contribute to the active sales of flexibles pipes through the execution of service life extension studies.
- Be responsible for building systems and processes that allow for efficient execution of after sales tasks.
- Develop and maintain database over pipes damaged in operation.
- Represent NOV on relevant external arenas.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent), ideally with oil and gas sector experience.
- Demonstrated experience in after-sales technical support or service roles.
- Broad technical knowledge across engineering disciplines.
- Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills-especially with limited data.
- Ability to set priorities, manage risks, and communicate project milestones effectively.
- Solid understanding of risk assessment and opportunity management.
- Proven capability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and influence diverse teams.
- Resilience and composure under pressure; solutions-focused in conflict resolution.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with NOV products, testing protocols, and client requirements.
- Knowledge of flexible pipe systems and their lifecycle.
- General understanding of NOV's strategy, competencies, and scope.
- Strong project management skills and people management experience.
