External Site HSE Manager - Wind Farm ConstructionMain tasks and responsibilitiesSupport the safe execution of the project in compliance with:Local HSE laws and regulationsInternal company HSE processesProject-specific HSE rules and requirementsInitiate and support HSE continuous improvement on sitePrepare, develop, and monitor the Project HSE plan and related documentation, including:Permit to Work systemRisk assessments and method statementsEmergency response planSite inductions and toolbox talksReview HSE documentation from teams and contractors (e.g., HSE plans, training certificates, equipment inspection certificates) and ensure compliance before work releaseConduct site inductions and prepare welcome packages for personnel and contractorsParticipate in daily site activities:Daily briefings and toolbox talksCoordination meetings to highlight HSE topics and discuss corrective actionsSupport implementation of Permit to Work systemPromote HSE awareness on site through safety walks, talks, and proactive engagement with teamsConduct or support regular site inspections and auditsEnsure HSE incidents are reported, investigated, and follow-up actions are trackedPrepare weekly and/or monthly HSE reports with key metrics such as incidents, observations, and hours workedWork organizationWorkplace: Project site (desk at site compound)Work pattern: To be defined depending on site needsEnvironment & InteractionsWork closely with:Site Management Team (Site/Construction Manager, Installation Supervisors, Commissioning Lead)Project Management TeamCompany contractors (transport, installation, lifting, cabling, electrical, civil works)Company QHSE organization (Country/Regional)Maintain liaison with local authorities and emergency services as requiredKey competenciesGWO certification (Working at Height, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling)Medical fitness for work at heightKnowledge of PPE and fall protection systemsTechnical skillsStrong understanding of:National HSE regulationsWork at height, lifting, rigging, handling, electrical and mechanical hazardsEnvironmental and waste management for construction projectsFamiliarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001Proficient in risk assessment, incident investigation, and reportingMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)LanguagesFluent in English (oral and written) for site communication and reportingBehavioral skillsTeamwork and communication in a multicultural environmentProactive, hands-on approach to safetyStrong organizational and coordination abilitiesCommitment to HSE continuous improvement and best practicesEducation & TrainingBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related fieldRecognized HSE training or certificationAdditional safety courses (electrical awareness, service lift training) preferredWork experience3-5 years in similar HSE supervisory roles on construction sites with heavy liftingWind energy sector experience preferredEquipmentTo be provided by the consulting company:Car, mobile phoneFull body harness with associated fall protection PPEBasic PPE (helmet, high visibility jacket, safety shoes, gloves, protective glasses)To be provided by the company:IT equipmentOffice space at site compound
