The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior ICSS Instrumentation Telecom Commissioning Engineer to join our Iraq Business Unit.

This Project aims to take over the existing asset and maximize the production in 2 phases. This is a fast-track project and schedule-oriented Design to enhance the production.

The Phase 1 will restore, upgrade, and develop the current plant (CPF1) including: Restoration of initial CPF1 capacity; building a new export pipeline (24", ~30km); restoration of CPF1 integrity and operability; flaring elimination and released water; development of new flowlines, pads, and electrification network for approximately 30 new wells; debottlenecking of the plant; upgrade of the Safety and Security facilities.

Our scope is to provide Engineering, Procurement services and Construction assistance (EPsCa) for the initial development phase of the field in Southern Iraq. The scope of services includes FEED, detailed design, procurement support, and construction and commissioning assistance.

Future Team

• Join our Commissioning Team out Basra (Iraq) where you will be working under the Field Operation Representative and Construction Manager for the Project. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing hands-on commissioning activities.

Job Objectives:

• Ensure delivery of network architecture, cyber-security, PLC, SNCC, HMI, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and interface design.
• Control &Instruments systems commissioning from design to completion within budget, maintaining safety, quality, time, and performance standards.
• Organize commissioning activities, including meetings, tests, demonstrations, and training events.
• To support the Commissioning and Start-up teams for the on-site activities during construction, Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up phases.
• Promote all actions for smooth and efficient turnover from Project team to OPS team regarding deliverables on ICSS/Packages and Instrumentation (manuals, procedures, OTP's reports, loops drawings, Functional Analysis documents, final dossier etc.)
• Ability to fault find PLC logic, address hardware faults, and perform diagnostic checks.
• Loop Control Optimization & Tuning. Fault Finding on Process, DCS, PLC`s, MMS, ESD, F&G, Analysers & Profibus Networks.
• Onsite management of trade support team for operations, defect repair, and maintenance.
• Experience with factory acceptance testing and documentation vetting.
• To develop Commissioning documentation, PCR`s (pre-commissioning/ commissioning record sheets).
• Database development for pre-commissioning/ commissioning & tracking /reporting systems.
• Commissioning experience and hands on in DCS's, PLC`s, MMS, ESD, F&G, Analysers, Profibus Networks & Field Instruments.
• Coordination of Punch Listing and other Mechanical Completion activities related to control equipment, coordinates and advise providing technical advice on aspects of System control (Foxboro I/A DCS and Triconex Safety system ESD/F&G) and purchasing as per Client needs equipment's, integrating in the existing system, giving advice on the field Tx, Fieldbus modules.
• Perform SAT on DCS Foxboro I/A, Triconex Safety system ESD/F&G along with the Client, signing off the Tests Cases for each panel on entire systems.

Expected:

• Minimum of 15 years automation design experience in complex Industrial installation and in large Capital Projects
• 10 years' work experience in Oil and Gas plant Commissiong
• 5 Years experience in engineering with ICSS - instrumentation focus.
• Highly developed knowledge of industrial automation and electrical systems and Codes and Norms in the European community and preferable in France.
• Experience on EPC and commissioning
• Familiarity with panorama SIEMENS system
• Hands-on experience with commissioning, defect repair, and maintenance of petroleum equipment.
• Managerial experience in Operations and/or Operations Technical
• BS/MS/Eng. degree

• Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
• Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment
• Previously worked successfully in a key leadership position.
