We are looking for a MP Head, Engineering Digital & Methods for one of our clients with the following details:

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Master's degree in a technical discipline,
• Graduate engineer with a good level of technical understanding of all relevant technical disciplines, with at least 15 years' experience of onshore/offshore oil & gas project,
• At least 5 years' experience of Engineering Team Management, coordinator or lead for offshore oil & gas project.
• Good knowledge of engineering smart and digital tools including AVEVA Unified Engineering, AVEVA AIM, Equipment Tag Management tools and Reporting and Progress Management software/tools.
• Good knowledge of data management and asset data library development, control and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of industry codes, standards and legislations on SHE aspect
• Familiar with Oil & Gas project organizations
• Familiar with project procedures, Management System standards and guidelines.
• Familiar with the client & Total general specifications
• Language: fluent English
• Computer literate
• Strong leadership skills and good communication skills
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment

Activities:

• Support MP/DES strategy implementation, management plan and MP Project execution.:
• Manage the MP Methods and Digital Team and ensure any supporting activities for ongoing projects are performed timely with required quality.
• Assist MP Engineering Manager in preparation, execution and control of overall MP Engineering strategy, road map, planning, objectives and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain MP Engineering Resource Management Plan and required tools and templates for review, selection, mobilization and demobilization processes.
• Assist in development of contractual documents related to project digital requirements and support PMT team during CFT, evaluation, execution and close out.
• Assist with overall project closeout, including completion documents, As-built, engineering, deficiency corrections and handover process for databases including 1D databases, 2D schematics, 3D model and Quantum NNG database and Equipment Tag registers.

Realization of digital objectives:

• Ensure availability and consistency of digital initiatives, proper execution of integrated digital process management plan and availability of digital product solutions, smart tools, and applications across all MP Projects.
• Manage planning, organizing, execution and control of full life cycle of equipment tagging and facilities numbering process including tag properties, tag to document registers and tag to tag registers and related tools (Quantum NNG and Informatica) across MP Projects.
• Manage implementation of iTools and related plug-ins for development of iPDF documents across MP Projects ensuring the documents are produced accordance to company standards to be able to upload them in iView.
• Manage implementation and maintenance of AVEVA Unified Engineering Products, AVEVA AIM-A and Smart Tool applications across MP Projects.
• Ensure proper coordination and interfaces with relevant stakeholders including the company E&C and DBS Departments, digital solution provider vendors, MP Contractors
• Support MP in selection of integrated, cost effective and fit for purpose technology, tools, applications and software for all Projects.

Availability and consistency of MP engineering methods:

• Ensure development of engineering method statements, processes and procedures, work instructions, templates, check lists, etc.; ensure consistent utilization of them across all projects
• Support development of technical standards guidelines and technical notes.
• Review the current engineering activities and business processes within MP Engineering Team in order to identify the area of optimization and improvement.
• Manage development of Engineering Benchmark multidiscipline databases by retrieving project key data at various phases of projects.
• Support identification and capturing engineering lesson learnt through the project execution and capitalization of them across all new MP Projects.

Engineering audit, progress monitoring, forecast and readiness assessment:

• Perform audit including digital audit within MP Engineering Team and across all projects to ensure compliance with MP Engineering processes/procedures
• Perform engineering audits for Engineering Contractor(s) at various stages of project including CFT& CTR qualification, design, construction support and close out phases.
• Issue EMG weekly/monthly steering data/report, detailing overall progress across schedule, risks, changes, technical issues and resources to ensure accurate information is available to support decision making and opportunities.
• Centralize progress reporting including development of Power Bi Dashboards, and centralize risk management, and change management activities for engineering phase of MP Projects.
• Identify, record, update regularly engineering related risks at EMG level, put in place actions to mitigate them.

General:

• Support potential deviations from the company referential with the Engineering Manager and Technical Authority for final decision across all packages, communicate the result information through all packages and EMG.
• Support MP DCC in development and execution of Project As-Built Process and final handover of project documents to E&C.
• Promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other company HSE procedures in all activities
• Carry out work in compliance with company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed company priorities and objectives, company standards and procedures and good industry practices,
• Carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors.
