Role Summary
Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and designers, ensuring the technical integrity and delivery of multiple medium to small projects within the oil and gas sector, specifically offshore and infrastructure projects. You will liaise closely with clients and internal teams to balance project budgets and expectations while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical engineering teams across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with client representatives and adhere to standards such as Qatar Energy and Shell DEP.
- Prepare, review, and approve engineering deliverables and documentation.
- Provide technical leadership throughout procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure project scope is clearly defined and managed with change control processes.
- Promote best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement in electrical engineering.
- Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical engineering developments and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a technical interface between project stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation (or willingness to obtain during probation).
- Extensive senior-level experience in electrical engineering within the oil & gas industry, particularly offshore projects and Shell-related standards.
- Proficient in software such as MS Office Suite, ETAP, CYMECAP.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, able to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
