We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in high voltage substations to join a leading technology company in the Helsinki area. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with High Voltage Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) installations and a solid understanding of Finnish safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site activities for the construction and commissioning of high-voltage substations.
• Coordinate daily work, ensuring progress, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of GIS equipment and related electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with Finnish HSE regulations, project requirements, and industry standards.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure alignment with project schedule and quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor performance, and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site reports and documentation in both Finnish and English.
• Work closely with project management, engineering teams, and clients to ensure smooth execution.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in site management within electrical construction projects.
• Proven experience with High Voltage GIS and substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Finnish health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in Finnish and English.
• Ability to manage multicultural teams and drive project delivery under tight deadlines.
