Role Overview:
- Directly involved in Process Engineer's manpower planning that supports production team on engine shop processes involving BSI, Disassembly, Assembly and Test.
- Driving SQDIP metrics for Process Engineering Team by utilizing fully the Flightdeck principles.
- Managing engine shop processes and finding avenues to problem solve issues along with injecting improvement opportunities.
- Driving cost saving initiatives by either Challenging engine process status quo or researching engine part/component historical data via CFMi salesforce or MRB review board.
- Lead/manage investigations to determine root causes of COQ or defects
- Involved in Safety Action Group initiatives that drives SMS implementation and adherence in shop.
Ideal Candidate:
- Candidate will have a strong technical operations background managing technical issues and possess deep knowledge in process engineering. The ideal candidate should have a technical degree with at least 5 years of experience and a demonstrated background in working with multiple stakeholders. Expertise in engine process knowledge, optimization, and lean methodologies is essential, along with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Aviation, Mechanical or relevant engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
