Position Summary

Power system engineer for Transmission, Distribution & Transportation Division that has intermediate knowledge of power system analysis, and software simulation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute established or create new test cases per ETAP QA requirements.
• Provide client support and technical issue resolution via e-mail and phone.
• Apply engineering application software to perform power system modeling, analysis, and design.
• Support ETAP development activities including software R&D, testing, and other duties as assigned.
• Instruct ETAP workshops and webinars.

Qualifications

• Have completed at least two or more of the following basic level Power System Analysis courses in their program such as Power System Load Flow, Short-circuit Analysis, Power System Protection/Coordination, etc.
• Capability to utilize standard engineering and mathematical concepts and principles in the design, coding, and testing of software components.
• Proficiency in modeling and analysis for transmission, distribution, and/or railway power systems.
• Strong analytical skills for use in response to technical queries from customers/clients.
• Computer Skills related to creation of reports and presentations in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

B.S., M.S. in Power System Engineering
