Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-hybrid

This role is contributing to the Instrument Service Product within Measurement & Analytical Division in South Korea. Main stakeholders are general industrial sector such as Power generation, COG, Metal, Marine, Semiconductor as well as internal sales and product management teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
• Executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and as quality standards.
• Preparing all documents and customer reports to be signed by the customer representative.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in instrumentation, electrical/mechanical service, or related engineering field would be preferred.
• Familiar with basic electrical and instrumentation tools, and able to work with technical manuals and service procedures
• Strong passion for safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous learning
• Native proficiency in Korean and business-level fluency in both spoken and written English
