JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Repair Leadership: Oversee and actively participate in the safe assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of completion tools and associated equipment. Identify and resolve work issues while recommending measures to enhance productivity and product quality.

Team Development: Provide daily guidance, supervision, and mentoring for assembly shop employees. Conduct performance evaluations, deliver training in technical tasks, safety, and company procedures, and support continuous skills development.

Project Coordination: Understand project scopes and assembly requirements by attending kick-off, pre-assembly, and post-assembly meetings. Participate in weekly production and project review meetings.

Operational Oversight: Work independently on complex, multi-faceted projects requiring sound technical judgment and problem-solving. Ensure adherence to safe work practices, job hazard analysis, and internal controls.

Policy & Compliance: Uphold company and corporate policies, standards, and programs, including all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

Inspections & Investigations: Conduct shop inspections and participate in incident investigations. Monitor corrective actions, ensure timely completion, and maintain accurate documentation.

Workshop Maintenance: Support the development and execution of shop maintenance programs, including inspections, repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance. Coordinate with internal and external resources for mechanical, electrical, and equipment needs.

Additional Duties: Perform all other related tasks as assigned to support operational goals.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (required)

5-8 years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in completion tool assembly, troubleshooting, repair, general mechanics, pressure testing, and disassembly/reassembly of equipment

Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and departments

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Requirements

Work environment includes shop, warehouse, and indoor/outdoor settings with potential exposure to dust, fumes, gases, and varying temperatures/humidity.

Physical requirements may include squatting, bending, lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, climbing ladders, and working near moving equipment.

Required PPE: steel-toe boots, safety glasses/side shields, hard hat, and hearing protection. Additional PPE such as face shields or respirators may be required based on task.
