The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Emerson's Safety and Health programs for Measurement Solutions Field Service operations. This role serves as a key business partner to ensure compliance with EHS regulations, drive effective communications, manage customer requirements, and promote a strong safety culture across the region.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:
  • Partner with regional leadership to drive a consistent EHS vision and ensure timely communications.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable EHS laws, regulations, and emerging issues to ensure compliance.
  • Deliver EHS-related training programs across all organizational levels.
  • Manage EHS data entry, metrics, and reporting to highlight trends and drive awareness.
  • Support interactions with local and regional regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and monitor corrective actions.
  • Assist leadership in ensuring customer EHS qualifications are met and maintained.
  • Manage customer-required testing, training, and 3rd party compliance systems (ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks, etc.).
  • Administer EHS systems, recordkeeping requirements, and performance tracking (incidents, leading indicators, JSAs).
  • Identify and escalate risks in project proposals and service models.
  • Support emergency planning and response for field services teams.
  • Coordinate with vendors for EHS-related materials and services procurement.

For this role, you will need:
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety laws and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and generate clear reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office® (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with Operations, Training, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Administrative teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:
  • 3+ years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs in general industry settings.
  • Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs.
  • Applied knowledge of relevant agency and industry standards and practices.
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, project management, and problem-solving.
