About the Role
Technip Energies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HSSE Administrator to support health, safety, security, and environmental initiatives on the Net Zero Teesside Power project. Reporting directly to the Site HSSE Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, organising training programs, and maintaining accurate safety records to foster a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Implementation:
Assist in monitoring and enforcing health and safety policies and procedures to reduce workplace risks and ensure compliance with local and regulatory standards.
Risk Assessments:
Participate in performing risk assessments and safety audits as required, identifying potential hazards and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
Training Programs:
Prepare, organise, and deliver health and safety inductions for employees to promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with site safety standards.
Incident Investigation:
Support workplace investigations into incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
Record Keeping:
Compile and maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety activities. Prepare reports on safety performance and compliance status.
Focal Point:
Act as a point of contact for safety-related issues and concerns, collaborating with management to foster a culture of safety within the organization.
Qualifications
Education:
Entry-level Occupational Health and Safety qualification preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
Previous experience in a health and safety-related role is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital record management.
Skills & Competencies
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Organisational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining detailed and accurate records.
Analytical Skills:
Competence in data analysis and reporting safety statistics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
