Strategic & Innovation Focus

• Monitor and analyze global market trends and emerging demands
• Design and develop innovative, customer-centric equipment solutions
• Optimize new and existing product designs to reduce costs and enhance production efficiency

Technical Excellence

• Perform comprehensive engineering analyses, including FEA and manual calculations
• Create and review detailed mechanical engineering documentation
• Ensure all deliverables meet company policies and regulatory compliance standards

Collaboration & Quality Assurance

• Actively participate in internal design reviews with commercial awareness
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation
• Follow established checking, approval, and Engineering Change Procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding quality standards
• Resolve engineering inquiries with technical precision and timeliness

Qualifications & Skills

We are seeking a qualified Design Engineer with a strong technical background and relevant industry experience. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)
• 5 years of industry experience (preferred, open to candidates with fewer years)
• 3D CAD Software Proficiency with SolidWorks experience preferred, including demonstrated experience creating 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings
• Strong Mechanical Engineering Foundation with solid calculation capabilities
• Design for Manufacture, Assembly, and Maintenance expertise with experience collaborating with manufacturing engineers and rotating equipment/machinery design experience preferred
• Industry Materials Expertise with practical applications, preferably including steel manufactured parts and rubber/elastomer injection molded parts knowledge
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• English Language Proficiency at B2/C1 level (reading, writing, speaking)
• Regulatory Standards Understanding (desirable, not essential): Machinery (Safety) Directive, PED (Pressure Equipment Directive), ATEX (Explosive Atmospheres), and REACH (Chemical Regulation)
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software experience with JDE/Teamcenter preferred
