We are seeking a experienced Subsea Lead Engineer to join our client's team on a major undertaking in the liquefied natural gas space. Based in Paris, France, this critical role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-value, globally impactful initiative. As part of this large-scale effort, you'll play a vital role in supporting cutting-edge subsea infrastructure and operations.
What are you going to do
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and ensuring consistency of engineering documents with client expectations.
- Contributing to the definition of subsea operating principles, manuals, and strategies.
- Overseeing fabrication, FATs, and operability assessments for subsea equipment.
- Developing inspection, repair, and maintenance (IMR) strategies.
- Handling procurement, delivery, and commissioning of subsea assets.
- Supporting safe, efficient subsea operations and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Mentoring and training operators to build team expertise.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Minimum 15 years specific production experience in oil, gas or petrochemical industry
- Minimum 10 years specific to subsea equipment operations and subsea control system.
- Deep experience in subsea equipment and systems, including trees, flowlines, manifolds, control systems, and pipelines.
- Skilled in equipment commissioning, FAT/SAT testing, as well as troubleshooting and lifecycle management.
- The ability to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and oversee contractor deliverables.
- Proven commitment to HSE protocols and operational integrity.
