Please note: The location is based in WA. You will be required to visit site frequently as part of learning and delivering HSE support.
Responsibilities:
• Provide effective project HSE support
• Follow and ensure compliance to the Project Site HSE systems and processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory legislation for Workplace, Health, Safety and Environment (WHSE)
• Assist in the coordination of inspections with contractor companies
• Be an active team member in conducting field-base
Qualifications:
• Cert IV in HSE/ WHS
• A current white card or equivalent for the construction industry is preferred
Competencies:
• Demonstrate commitment to Safety at all times
• Demonstrate commitment to Environment and Sustainability at all times
• Ensure a safe workplace and report all hazards, near misses and incidents immediately
• Comply with all site health, safety and environment policies and procedures
• Ensure all documentation is fully and accurately completed in a timely manner
• Advise and support the HSE Lead in meeting all HSE requirements
• Report writing skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of software solutions used to support projects
