TotalEnergies operates on-premise GPU supercomputers that are updated to reflect advances in hardware and software. The need for execution efficiency leads to the use of HPC orchestrators. Artificial intelligence applications, which rely on specialized Python environments, are deployed as AI containers. In this environment, administrators are responsible for optimizing resource usage.

Activities

As an AI-HPC Engineer / Container Execution on Supercomputers Beginner - M/F, your missions will be:

- To achieve hybridization between a Slurm orchestrator and Podman containers. An initial objective is to install and evaluate different hybridization modes, such as slinky, pyxis, and scrun.

- Large-scale management through an abstraction layer such as Kubernetes or OpenShift. The tests will involve various AI codes, including LLM models, generative diffusion algorithms, and image segmentation.

You will evolve within a team of experienced professionals and with a tutor-coach, the reference for your future profession. Individualized support will help you develop your autonomy and lead you to your diploma!

Have you recently graduated from a Master's degree in IT Development/Programming ? Start your career with a stimulating experience at the heart of international teams, committed to the energy transition!

We are looking for a AI-HPC engineer / Container execution on supercomputers Beginner - M/F for a 12-month period, starting in November 2025.

Are you comfortable with office automation and familiar with the Office suite? You will be using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in particular.

Are you proficient in Python and knowledgeable about containers and orchestration?

Are autonomy, rigor, and team spirit integral parts of your qualities?

Good writing skills and fluency in English will be essential for this position.

We offer you a 12-month full-time professional training contract (100% in-company), including a training component (business, language, tools, etc.). This training is provided in-house by organizations selected by TotalEnergies. This contract will enable you to gain a year's professional experience while being trained in the specifics of your job in relation to the Company's activities.
