Job Description Summary

The Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE) reports to the Senior Operation Management Staff Manager and is a project management role that is responsible for managing instrumentation requirements on military and commercial engines in Development Assembly & Component Test.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE), you will:
  • Responsible for managing instrumentation requirements
  • Cost and schedule on engines and any additional information requested through a Test Project Sheet (TPS)
  • Daily interface with: Instrumentation, Design, Systems, Assembly, Engineer, Evaluation, Test, Tooling and Project Personnel, as well as the Hourly work force
  • Engagement in activities that will assist in the scheduling and execution of development engines while focusing on: Integrity, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Over-all Cost Initiatives
  • Interface with software tools such as: IDS, IWS, eTPS, Open Plan, Digital Thread, Intelligence, Digital Workbench, VIS mock-up, a variety of access databases


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
  • Due to the nature of the duties of this position, this role requires the individual to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
