Emerson is looking for a Project Engineer for our office in Cluj (Romania). The primary purpose of the role is the technical and commercial engineering of solutions, proposals and subsequent execution of assigned high complex instrumentation Tier 2 & 3 PMO projects, ensuring our contractual commitments are fulfilled whilst maximizing our customers' satisfaction and achieving the internally agreed level of profitability.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Acts as the main technical interface on assigned projects.

• Responsible for preparing the technical and commercial bid, ensuring that all technical clarifications are discussed and closed before the order is placed. The PMO Project Engineer is highly involved in all project stages starting from the Proposal until the end of Execution phase.

• Analyzes complex customer specification, comments on the specification and find competitive optimized solutions (customer benefit).

• Responsible to ensure project requirements are met, taking responsibility for the development and delivery of compliant, high quality engineering solutions to the customer, preparing the project for the next step. Responsible for ensuring that projects aligns with Emerson's quality and satisfaction standards.

• Align with sales for proposal development, attend and lead technical discussions in customer project meetings.

• Collaborate with PMO team (Project Manager, Project Administrator, and Documentation Controller) to manage contractual obligations throughout the project cycle.

• Support project administration in processing customer orders and documentation within Emerson business systems.

• Ensure relevant project technical knowledge is transferred to all internal partners, locally and globally, to successfully deliver the overall project to the customer

• Ensure compliance with Emerson Trade Compliance and Ethical Business policies, applying PMO project methodology to all projects.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• HNC/Degree level in an engineering discipline or equivalent, or relevant
experience in the industry
• Candidates should have proven +2 years experience in a technically similar project
role

• Able to communicate clearly with customers on technical matters and collaborate with
internal stakeholders as needed.
