As an automation technical specialist you will provide technical expertise to support our sales teams and customers during the presales phase by providing expert guidance on ABB's state-of-the-art Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Ostrava.

Your role and responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Technical Presales Support: Provide technical guidance to sales teams without engaging in commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate Globally: Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including product management, R&D, and ABB front-end organizations.
• Enhance Technical Competence: Continuously develop your expertise in ABB's DCS product portfolio.
• Low travel requirements

Qualifications for the role

• Experience in process automation.
• Core Expertise: Knowledge of System 800xA, Industrial Communication: Understanding of Ethernet, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Modbus.
• High School / Bachelor's degree/ University degree in a relevant field (Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science)
• Fluent English language skills.
