Introduction

Our client, a leading entity in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a seasoned Senior Subsea EPC Contract Engineer to lead the management of contracts for complex subsea projects. Based in Paris, France, this 12-month contract (renewable) position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale offshore projects with budgets ranging from $50M to $3B.

What are you going to do

• Contract Management Expertise: Over 10 years of experience in handling subsea contracts, encompassing CFT preparation, negotiation, administration, and execution, with an emphasis on claims management and dispute resolution.
• Technical Mastery: Proven knowledge of the project lifecycle, along with expertise in managing subsea packages and working on offshore EPC projects.
• Communication Skills: Advanced fluency in English and French with exceptional abilities in influencing, networking, and sharing insights and lessons learnt with stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Representing the contract entity in committees, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting project approvals and governance.
• Leadership: Ability to mentor, train, and support peers, ensuring contract engineering best practices are implemented and continuously improved upon.

Requirments

• 15+ years in EPC projects, with a focus on subsea packages
• Deep understanding of project phases, including experience as a package contract engineer
• Expert in contract preparation, CFT (Call for Tender), negotiation, and administration
• Skilled in claim management
• Proven ability to manage complexity and work with challenging stakeholders
• Strong influencing and transversal management skills
• Excellent communication, influencing, and networking abilities
• Strong team collaboration and information-sharing mindset
• English: Expert
• French: Advanced
