As a Project Manager for Chemical Installations, you will lead the end-to-end execution of construction, renovation, and maintenance projects for our chemical facilities at our site in Briare. You'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality and regulatory standards.

What you'll bring
  • Education: Degree in Chemical Process Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Knowledge of chemical processes and associated constraints (e.g., ATEX, ICPE).
  • Proficiency in project management (scheduling, budgeting, coordination). Experience with MS Project or other Project Management tools.
  • Familiarity with HSE standards and applicable regulations.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, including P&IDs.
  • Ability to coordinate construction teams, including engineers, technicians, and suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and organizational ability.
  • Business fluency in French and English.

Site Supervision:
  • Plan and coordinate the work of the various trades.
  • Ensure on-site presence to monitor work progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Manage technical contingencies and propose corrective solutions.

Project Management:
  • Develop and monitor the overall project schedule.
  • Monitor budgets and performance indicators.
  • Lead site meetings and prepare reports.
  • Ensure communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Project Closure:
  • Carry out work acceptances.
  • Participate in the commissioning of facilities.
  • Capitalize on feedback to improve future projects.

Order Management:
  • Identify equipment, service, and subcontracting needs.
  • Draft technical specifications in collaboration with the engineering teams.
  • Issue calls for tenders, analyze proposals, and select suppliers.
  • Track orders through to on-site delivery, in collaboration with the purchasing and logistics departments.
