We have an opportunity for a Degree Apprentice (Level6) Electrical Engineer to join our Apprentice Programme in our MEP teambased in Plymouth, starting in 2026.

Thisexciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience and academicqualifications to launch a successful career in electrical engineering.

Based in Plymouth, you'll work alongside a team which specialises in the delivery ofbuilding services, energy and sustainability services. We offer a freshapproach by getting involved early, working collaboratively with the designteam, guiding design development and using our expertise to help clients makekey decisions - an approach that always results in a building that delivers.

Thisapprenticeship will enable you to learn whilst you earn as you study for anacademic qualification. You will gain a Level 6 BEng ElectromechanicalApprenticeship degreein conjunction with our Training Provider, Exeter University (block release). This will bediscussed further during the recruitment process.

About you:

Qualifications:

For ourLevel 6 apprenticeship you will need:

  • UCAS tariff points: 128 points minimum.

With either:
  • A level: ABB, including Mathematics at grade B or above and one other analytical subject (also with a grade B). Excluding General Studies.
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DDM; must include a Merit or above in Mathematics and Further Mathematics in Construction Units.
  • Scottish Highers: 4 SQA Advanced Highers - BBB and SQA Highers - A, A, B, B, B (to include Mathematics)
  • Irish Leaving Certificate: (Highers) H2, H2, H2, H2, H3, H3 (at least H3 for Mathematics and one other Analytical Science)
  • International Baccalaureate: 32-34 points/655. HL5 in Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches) and HL5 in another Science subject, including Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Design Technology, Physics, Environmental Systems and Societies.
  • Other equivalent qualifications may be considered.
  • GCSEs: At least 5 GCSEs with a grade of 5 or 6 (B) or above in Mathematics and English Language. Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths are also accepted. You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed above.

Pleasenote, we ask our Apprentices to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensurethat colleagues are able to provide the appropriate level of support.
