Job Title: QA/QC Inspector

Qualification: HND or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Inspector to oversee inspection activities for materials, repairs, modifications, and replacements of static equipment, piping, and tanks. This role ensures compliance with company specifications, codes, and standards across plant and non-plant areas, supporting new projects and expansions. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect materials/equipment (valves, piping, vessels, etc.) and verify certificates against purchase orders and standards.
• Support development and qualification of welding procedures and maintain related records.
• Coordinate periodic inspections of gas cylinders and portable tanks.
• Conduct/witness NDT and destructive testing to ensure material conformity.
• Provide QA/QC services during planned/unplanned shutdowns and ensure proper work permits.
• Participate in shutdown meetings and site visits for scope definition and pressure test waivers.
• Review contractor QA/QC documentation for maintenance and project work.
• Perform QA/QC activities (Welding, NDT, heat treatment, GRP/FRP, etc.) per contract specs.
• Close out QA/QC-related work orders in SAP and upload inspection reports in Meridium.
• Audit supplier/contractor QA/QC systems and submit reports for review.

Qualifications

• HND or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
• AWS-SCWI or CSWIP 3.2 (or equivalent).
• API 510, 570, 653 certifications (as applicable).
• ASNT/PCN Level-2 in UT, MT, PT, RT or Advanced NDT.

Experience & Skills

• 4 years in inspection, welding, NDT, testing, and coating in oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, ASTM, API, NACE/ISO standards.
• Proficient in English (written & spoken).
• Computer literate with data analysis skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
