RIFT is an innovative startup focused on decarbonizing the heat-intensive industry with our groundbreaking Iron Fuel Technology. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven Process Engineer.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise and make an impact in a fast-growing environment where sustainability and technology are at the core. You will be involved in all stages, from concept to the physical start-up of the system you designed. You will be part of one or more projects, collaborating with engineers from other disciplines to ensure the system performs at its best.

What you do as a Medior Process Engineer

• Determine the requirements that systems must meet for optimal performance.
• Design chemical processes for Iron Fuel Technology, from concept to P&ID level.
• Collaborate with the Technical Project Manager on feasibility studies and conceptual designs (FEL/FEED studies).
• Actively participate in the startup of systems, ensuring safety and operability.
• Contribute to safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL) to identify safety risks and ensure that your colleagues can work safely.

• Brengt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring mee in process engineering, binnen de warmte-, energieproductie-, (petro)chemische of vergelijkbare industrie.
• Hebt kennis van boilers, is een pré
• Hebt kennis en ervaring met software en systemen die gehanteerd worden binnen process engineering.
• Werkt graag samen in projecten met engineers van verschillende disciplines.
• Kan goed uit de voeten in zowel Nederlands als Engels.
• Hebt een bachelor in Chemische Technologie, Energietechnologie, of een vergelijkbare studie/ervaring.
