JOB DESCRIPTION

NOV SPS Brazil is looking for Process Engineer. In this position you will support production of flexible pipes, working with process improvement and optimization, technical drawings and documentation.

Process Engineer with solid a background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechanical Production Engineering. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our production team and ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities:

Production and Support:

Provide support to Process Technicians regarding the factory's production plan.

Monitor the production plan and ensure its effective implementation.

Assist in handling process deviations in the BMS, analyzing root causes with a multidisciplinary team.

Evaluate tools and equipment on the production line for new projects.

Specify measuring instruments, tools, consumables, facilities, and equipment.

Technical Drawing and Documentation:

Prepare technical drawings of parts for procurement.

Develop, update, and approve work instructions as needed and provide training to operators.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

Execute improvement projects for specific production lines.

Develop setup parameters for the production line.

Identify and implement process improvement needs in the manufacturing process.

Technical Evaluation and Support:

Conduct technical evaluation of resources required for production according to the project.

Provide technical support to production, procurement, product engineering, documentation, maintenance, occupational safety, environmental, and quality departments.

Supplier Development and Procurement:

Support SCM departments in developing new national and international suppliers.

Specify and request procurement of materials, machines, and tools when necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechanical Production Engineering.

Intermediate English proficiency.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with 2D and 3D drawing analysis and construction software (Autocad / Solidworks).

Desired:

Advanced English proficiency.

Experience in data analysis.
