Partly remoteOur client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Process Engineer based in Aberdeen. This will be a PAYE contract role through until summer 2026.
Role description:
Design/asset optimisation activities concentrating on unique topics (guided by procedures or documented experience).
Undertakes process engineer role.
Provides a more holistic approach when it comes to discipline integration.
Delivers technical work in an independent way, having good judgement when to consult others.
Provides assurance to technical work of peers.
Translates the guidelines and standards into practice, and solves the more difficult technical challenges within the asset/internally and provides/assures technical recommendations which have a perceptible impact on local business performance; actively drives the identification, development and implementation of new technologies and opportunities to optimise field operations in the area of (electro)chemical processes.
Contributes to the training and guidance of other professionals in the field.
May represent the Company externally as a subject matter expert with suppliers, customers and external agencies.
Is expected to work with minimal or no technical supervision.
May hold Technical Authority TA3/2.- Supports integration across engineering disciplines to achieve delivery which is safe (all aspects of HSSE - personal/process safety and environment), fit for purpose and meeting cost-value optimisation.
Member of discipline team within design, operation, or maintenance of facilities/plant, interfacing with external stakeholders and managing contractors.
Careful stakeholder management from an impact and reputation perspective.
